Train as a tutor

Volunteer tutors help younger students through olympiad maths, usually for an hour a week online. Sign up here to start our free training. When you finish it and we have watched you teach, you can look after your own students.

How the training works

Five short modules, each with a quiz.
An olympiad test at the highest grade you will teach.
Show us how you teach, with practice students who are made up, not real children. We give you feedback.
Teach a short session while one of us watches.
We certify you, and you can look after your own students.

Who can join

Students in Grade 8 or above, and adults, who are strong at maths and patient explainers. You teach students at least three grades below your own, so a Grade 8 student can teach up to Grade 5. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before you sign up.
